Recap: Here’s what went down at ADE 2024
Find out the key highlights from our recent attendance at ADE 2024, a five-day event packed with more than 1,000 events across more than 200 venues in the city of Amsterdam.
We were thrilled to be back at ADE for the first time since 2019, showcasing our latest Launchkey MIDI controllers alongside classic products like Bass Station II, Peak, and Summit. Our booth, featuring collaborations with Sequential, Oberheim, and ADAM Audio, attracted electronic music fans keen to explore and get hands-on with synthesisers and controllers.
ADE 2024 was a must for electronic music lovers, featuring live performances from Bonobo, Floating Points, and Barry Can’t Swim, as well as unique venues—such as an old dock crane. At our ADE Lab sessions, attendees joined our Build a Beat competition, downloaded exclusive sound packs, and dove into music production tips from our product specialists.
Novation Senior Product Specialist Chris Calcutt led a workshop on bringing studio music to the stage, showing how tools like Launchpad, Launchkey, Circuit Tracks, Circuit Rhythm, and Peak integrate seamlessly with Ableton for intuitive, dynamic live performances. Attendees learned to streamline gear, break down tracks, and use real-time controls for an engaging, expressive set.
