Meet FLpad: the grid controller for FL Studio

Here’s everything you need to know about our latest collaboration with FL Studio maker, Image-Line

Available to order now, FLpad brings fast, hands-on workflows to FL Studio’s Channel Rack — from sequencing and finger drumming to melodic playing and creating with Patterns.

From the user interface to the firmware and DAW scripts, both FLpad and FLpad Mini have been designed with FL Studio in mind and shaped by our ongoing collaboration with Image-Line.

Alongside their 8x8 grids, both controllers feature an array of dedicated controls for building tracks with Patterns, mode switching, transport control, undo/redo, and more. Novation Components makes it easy to create custom layouts for specific FL Studio workflows or for working with other software and hardware.

What’s the difference between the two controllers? FLpad Mini is perfect for grab-and-go beatmaking or as a permanent fixture in a compact setup. The larger FLpad features bigger, velocity-sensitive pads, making it the best choice for expressive finger drumming or melodic playing.
