Introducing GForce Bass Station

We are excited to announce the launch of GForce Bass Station, a software reimagining of Novation’s iconic Bass Station synthesiser. Novation has collaborated with GForce Software to recreate the synth, staying true to the spirit of the original whilst incorporating some powerful new features. 

First introduced in 1993, the original Bass Station became a cornerstone in affordable analogue mono-synths and was celebrated for its raw punchy basslines and distinctive analogue filter. Its admirers include Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and Wu-Tang Clan solidifying its status as an underground icon.

Analogue-modelling pioneers GForce, have preserved the heritage of the original Bass Station while updating it with new functionality that combines its classic character with modern sound design capabilities. It features 16-voice polyphony, advanced modulation options, a high pass filter, built-in effects such as distortion, reverb, delay and chorus, as well as a powerful sequencer and arpeggiator. In addition, its scalable interface and over 300 expertly crafted presets make it fast and simple to navigate.

GForce Bass Station is now included with Novation  Launchkey MK4, SL MkIII, and FLKey. For those without Novation hardware, GForce Bass Station is available directly from GForce Software.
