Main Index .: Xio .: My Xio will not power from the USB port of my computer.

My Xio will not power from the USB port of my computer.

A few computers, including the aluminium power books, may exhibit problems when trying to power the Xio via USB. This will depend on whether or not phantom power is being used on the Xio and in the case of the aluminium power books can depend on the USB port that is used (The left USB port is more aggressive in its power limiting). Most powered USB ports will not have any problems powering the Xio.

Using the power adapter or batteries will solve any problems.
